Maple 3.4.8
Maple 3.4.8 fixes the app failing to open on Linux.
- Linux .deb and .rpm: Maple starts again on Ubuntu 24.04, Linux Mint 22 and other systems with glibc 2.39 or newer. If 3.4.7 won't open, install the new package from maple.ai/downloads, because the app can't update itself.
- Linux AppImage: it now needs glibc 2.44 or newer. On older systems it explains this and points to the .deb and .rpm instead of failing with a system error.
- Maple Work 0.0.18 went out alongside this release. Integrations now has a searchable catalog of apps: connect remote apps with browser sign-in, or apps that run on this computer, such as Playwright and Xcode. MCP servers that exited now reconnect. The Editors page in Settings is now ACP, with setup examples for Zed, JetBrains, Paseo and T3 Code. A dropped host connection now shows a quiet spinner in the chat title instead of red banners, the sidebar stays still during background refreshes, and running shell cards no longer flicker.
Desktop is available at once, and an open desktop app checks for updates every hour; Android usually follows within a few hours; the App Store usually takes one to two days.
